Welcome to
ActiveGroup. Using the ActiveGroup web
site, booking an event or logging into an event tells us you
have read and agreed to these Terms of Service. Please read
them carefully. This Terms of Service is a binding contract regarding your use
of the ActiveGroup event. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please
exit from your event.
- There are a wide variety of
factors that can affect an Internet session and ActiveGroup has gone to
great lengths to minimize any disruption of your event broadcast. However,
ActiveGroup has no control of a variety of end user items and we can not
accept responsibility for those. ActiveGroup considers an event
successful when the broadcast can be seen in the ActiveGroup command
center or by other viewers in other locations. If you as an individual can not view the event it does not
relieve you of your obligation to render payment for ActiveGroup services.
- ActiveGroup sends out a
confirmation email to the primary contact once the event is booked and
sends out a 48 hour reminder notice as well. It is the responsibility of this user to forward the
information to you. Contained in
that email is a link that allows you to test your computer beforehand to
insure a successful event. Free
ActiveGroup technical support is provided for you if the test is
unsuccessful and by testing your computer well before the event most
problems can be diagnosed by ActiveGroup.
However even though ActiveGroup can oftentimes diagnose issues it is
your responsibility to remedy your hardware, software or connectivity
issues.
- ActiveGroup has no control over
the hardware you are viewing from.
Although we will help you install any required software to view
your event, the failure to have the software installed based on your
computers administrators rights, configuration or other issues are beyond ActiveGroup’s
control.
- ActiveGroup has no control over
the speed of your internet connection or the network you are viewing
from. If your computer can not
sustain an acceptable level of connectivity, due to company policies, computer
rights, firewalls or other servers this is an issue that you must resolve
although ActiveGroup can offer advice.
- In addition, ActiveGroup is not
responsible for the following items:
- Ensuring that the ActiveGroup
facility has an Internet connection behind the mirror for clients;
- Providing you with a computer
to use at a facility or any other location;
- Forwarding the confirmation
email to individual viewers;
- Putting ActiveNotes clips in
electronic documents;
- Sending the CD to someone
other than who is listed on the confirmation email;
- Helping a user obtain internet
access.
